 Our very first club meeting is all about setting you up for success — whether you’ve never sewn a bag before or you’ve already stitched up a small collection!

This class is fun, relaxed, and packed with hands-on learning. Here’s what we’ll explore together:

Jackie will walk you through the essentials, from the everyday basics to the “oh wow, that makes it SO much easier” tools, so you can sew with confidence.

🧵 Fabrics, Interfacing & Stabilizers
Learn how to choose the right combo to give your bags the perfect shape, structure, and personality. (Yes… bags definitely have personality!)

🔗 Hardware 101
Zippers, slides, rivets, snaps — if it jingles, clips, or shines, we’re talking about it! Jackie will show you how each piece works and where it fits in different bag styles.

🪡 Needles, Thread & Adhesives
Get the inside scoop on the notions that make your stitching smoother, sturdier, and way more enjoyable.
