Do you have fat quarters in your stash that aren't your style or color? Not sure what to do with them? Well, we have a solution—come make an Ugly Quilt!

Ugly Quilts are fun, creative, and a wonderful way to use those “misfit” fabrics. They make great utility quilts for road trips, sporting events, picnics, or keeping in the car.

Just bring 12 fat quarters or 12 pieces of fabric approximately 14" square in a variety of colors and designs, and we will turn them into a fabulous 36" x 48" quilt based on Karen Brown's Ugly Quilt pattern.

A mix of lights, mediums, and darks works especially well for this pattern.

Supplies:
🧵 12 Fat Quarters or 12 pieces of fabric approximately 14" square
🎨 A variety of colors and designs
📏 18" x 24" ruler
⬜ 12.5" square ruler
✂️ Rotary cutter with a new blade
🪡 Sewing machine
🧰 Basic quilting notions
