Peaceful Garden is a cozy, year-long Block-of-the-Month quilt class inspired by the charm and storytelling of traditional Baltimore Album quilts from the Civil War era (1840–1860). These historic quilts are beloved for their delicate flora's and symbolic details, and Peaceful Garden re-imagines that timeless style using modern machine embroidery and appliqué techniques.

Each month, we will stitch one beautifully detailed block inspired by the seasons. Expect lush flora's, graceful foliage, and sweet woodland friends like a cardinal, fox, rabbit, and fawn—all coming together to create a quilt that feels peaceful, meaningful, and heirloom-worthy.

This class is designed to be relaxing and approachable, with plenty of guidance along the way. You’ll build skills, gain confidence, and enjoy watching your quilt grow—one lovely block at a time. We’ll even cover custom quilting designs so you can finish your quilt with a polished, professional look.
